How to count the days between two dates
By default, the calculation excludes the end date: from January 1 to January 2 counts as 1 day. Check "Include the end date" to count both ends, for example for the length of a trip or a leave (Monday to Friday inclusive = 5 days).
Business days and statutory holidays
Business days here include every day from Monday to Friday. Statutory holidays aren't removed automatically, because they vary by province and employer. Holidays observed in most provinces include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; check your province's employment standards for the full list.
